Camping Capers

I returned this week from our second annual sister and adopted sister camping trip. This year we tried a different campground, and I can't believe I didn't take any pictures during our stay. The sites were nice, we had our usual belly laughs, and just plain fun.
Last year, we had the tent fiasco, with ourselves and guys from two other sites trying to figure out how to put my tent up, before Nancy, our family friend and adopted sister, bought a new one. This year was also without a smooth sail. Well, up to the last day that is, when my sisters car broke down. So this is how it ended. Someday we may look back on it and laugh!

It's hard not to let the one bad thing over shadow all the good things that went on. Hopefully the vehicle was fixed quickly and everything was OK.

Happy Weekend Laurie!

Well, all's well that ends well, and the car did get fixed. Thanks to the level headed thinking of my sisters...mine was out of commission! Thank you to Kathy, Nancy, Laurie and Wendy...
Love, Marti
P.S. It still was a great time...and "that's nice" to remember!

A good time was had by all. Considering the heat and humidity - plus the FIVE of us all over 50 - (that's as much as I'll own up to on a blog) :) Even my little dog had a good time.

Looking forward to our next camping trip already :)
