It Must Be True!

I get a charge out of watching my nephew Jacob's goats.
With all the pasture they have, thick, rich grass, clover;
they still prefer to stick their head through the fence.
So it must be true what they say,
"The grass is always greener on
the other side of the fence!"

Where Do You Go to Be at Peace?

Marilyn, in her blog Delights of the Heart,
asked a couple days ago where you go to be at peace.
To answer her, I will share my spot.
I have a prayer and meditation garden, that I planted
after the death of my sister Marti.
It has become my outdoor chapel, my sanctuary
where I go every morning to sit in its
silence, and say my prayers and meditate
on the beauty that surrounds me.
The wind chimes along side me are my chapel bells,
and the birds and the breeze blowing through
the pines that surround me add
a beautiful chorus, my own personal choir.
The stone in front of St. Francis was
painted by Marti just days before her death,it reads,
"May the words of my mouth
and the meditations of my heart
be pleasing in your sight Oh Lord,
my rock."
Yes this is where I sit in peace, and
give thanks to God, pray for those in need,
and begin my day.
Where do you find peace?

I'm trying to post comments!

Does anyone else have a problem with comments not going through on others blogs? I have been catching up, but getting rejections in my e-mail.

I'm Back!

I know, it's been awhile, but after the death of my sister last year, I sort of lost interest. But things are getting better, and I'm moving along. Miss her terrible though.
But this little Haven Rae of Sunshine has filled an empty heart with so much joy!
I was able to wrap my arms around her this summer,
and she wrapped herself around my heart!
Kiley is a fantastic little Momma, I'm so proud of her.
My grand daughters are so beautiful,
and are the joys of my life!
And now I have little Haven Rae
added to my little family.
and life is complete!
