Prayers Needed

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love animals. They are my passion, and my life. My pets are family members that bring our home such love. So saying good-bye when their time comes is the most difficult experience to go through. During the past two years, we have had to say good-bye to several of our precious babies. It never gets easier.
Now, we are faced with illness in our dear Lucy. It came on so sudden, and the prognosis is not good. She is in the hospital with chronic renal failure. If we loose her, I don't know how I will handle it. Lucy has been the best dog, and companion. We couldn't have asked for a better dog. Her personality has kept us entertained, and the love she has shown us can't be measured. Right now, Ken is going through the "what ifs." Convincing him we did nothing wrong, that this illness in no ones fault is going no where.
So now the most we can do is pray. And hope a miracle will come to our little Lucy.

Oh Laurie... I am so very sorry to hear this. I hope you all are able to make the best decision for Lucy, and if you do have to let her go, know that she will be in your hearts forever.

All of my most positive thoughts go to you/your family and Lucy. What a gift you have . . . to give your best friend a splendid life and be with her in her sickness and possible death. I wish you love and courage.

Oh Laurie ~ I know this pain. I am so sorry. I pray and know God will be in the center of this ~ however it goes He will giude you.Knowing our pet's "think" differntly of life has always helped me process this stuff. They are accepting of hardship in a way we arent.I mean ~ they love owners that mistreat them etc. When it comes to death ~ they are far more accepting than us.After Jake died in April ~ I had a serious talk with the Lord about our pets being in heaven.I didn't want to say it to my family if it wasnt true. I am now covinced they are there ~ waiting for us. This life is short here ~ for human or pet but eterniy is forever and I know we will be there with our babies.Sending love and comfort to you and thinking of you.;)

How terribly sorry I am to hear of Lucy's illness. It is always a painful thing when one must say goodbye to a beloved "furbaby. I had to make a difficult decision about my beautiful, sweet Pretty Belle. I was shattered by it, but knew I had to stop being selfish and let her go rather than prolong her pain any further. God bless you, your Lucy, and your family. Whatever you decide He will keep His hand on your shoulder.
