As for the kittens:
They are growing fast and getting more beautiful every day. There is a problem,
as much as they hang around me, are used to me being in the room with them, they still won't let me touch them. This is really concerning me, because they need to be socialized before I can take them to the humane society. Right now, there are 33 kittens and cats up for adoption. Of course, the babies are going to go first, and these guys are already 8 weeks old. It will be at least 10 weeks before they're ready to go out of the nursery there, as they have to have a physical and be wormed, and tame. I would keep them, but with 2 cats and 4 dogs, we just can't afford it. Plus, Mitzy hates them and I fear for their safety if she were to get in their room. Please. If you have any suggestions, I am so open to them. I don't want to turn them back into the wild. Help!

Laurie, I'm sorry to say I don't. I think you're way ahead of me on that and whatever - it's a hard problem. I'll keep you and the kittens in my prayers. Hugs, Diane

I wish I could think of something Laurie! Hopefully they will surprise you in the next day or two and come for some rubs and hugs. Perhaps if you left a t-shirt or something with your smell in there with them so they get extra used to you? I don't know.
Keep trying ~ I am sure they can feel your love!

Do you know anyone with a farm? they would make perfect barn cats and most folks like having them around....it is better than being euthanized.......
Oh, they are adorable..so sorry they are being so stuborn! Maybe do an internet search for some help - I don't have any ideas but am still so glad you took them in - and you have my respect and admiration for doing so - wven though it causes a hardship if sorts..you are special :-)
Cute! Maybe try hand feeding some stinky yummy kibble to them.
Easy at first just let them lick off your finger as they get used to it you can touch them a bit. If they see Mama do it most kittens will follow.
Also try just laying on the floor still so they can check you out...;-)
Good Luck.
