Richard

I idolized Richard Simmons. I had all his Dancing to the Oldies tapes, listened to him every time he was on t.v., bought his Deal a Meal, and went to see him when he came to Port Huron for a Town Hall event. I couldn't believe I was actually there, watching him in person. He was so funny, very entertaining, and had everyone in the audience standing up and exercising. My friend Barb was even called on stage to exercise with him. So after the show, I was so excited to have my picture taken with him. A woman I don't even know, offered to take the picture, took my name and address, and sent it to me. What a day! That was 15 years ago already, and the picture still sits on my desk. I just wish I could crop out the lady behind us rubbing her eye! Something I'll have to have Ken work on!

Ah!! That's sooo cute! My sister also has her photo with him and she said he was a hoot! Good for you! PS- the cropping shouldn't be too difficult - the background is dark..perfect to crop her out :-)

Look how far you have come Laurie! My gosh Mr. Pink himself, your famous and I had know idea?
I personally like the lady in the background because she is crying for you, her and Richard.
I use to adore him too, and now I think he's kinda gross?
