Celebrate!
Wow! I just finished watching the pre-inaugural celebration at the Lincoln Memorial. What a beautiful, fantastic event! The music was awesome, the speeches were so inspiring, the history lessons so informative and moving, and the speech by Obama was pure class, intelligence, and inspirational. If you didn't get a chance to see it, and get HBO, it's on several more times. I only hope they bring it out in DVD, as it will be a major keepsake from this moment in history. I really anticipate Tuesday, what a great time for our nation.

I didn't get to see it, but I will definitely be watching tomorrow. It is an exciting time of change and I am thrilled.
Dear Laurie, It's an amazing time in our history. I'm thrilled. Unfortunately we're going to be on the road to Billings tomorrow and I'm SO sad. I almost feel like heading to the electronics store and treating myself to something I can watch it on in the car. Hope your day is going wonderful(ly?)
It was so nice to be part of history!! I enjoyed it too.
