I found this cute plate at St. Vinnies for only a quarter! I also got a bag of pretty lace remnants for .75, and some pink bell ornaments for my pink tree.
Love that plate! Your brother lives in beautiful country. Didn't know you can tan leather with brains. When I was a kid and went up to my great-aunt and great-uncles farm I would ride horses with a girl from across the river...that river was more or less a stream, not a river in the area where I live...Anyway, she was a cousin of Wayne Newton's. Not sure how or what degree. His mom sent her all his albums and records. The first ones were of he and his brother when they sang together. This was back in the 60's. I'd go up to the mountains to the farm and spend a couple weeks several times a summer.
