While swimming in Robyn's pool today, we noticed some bad weather
coming in from the east. As we were under severe thunder storm
watches, we decided it would be a good thing to get out!
The storms came in rather quickly, and for the next
several hours, thunder, lightening and heavy
downpours remained.
They just stopped a few minutes ago, around 10:30 p.m.
but are expected on and off through the night.
Myself, I love a good thunderstorm so it didn't
bother me any, I left the curtains open to enjoy
the view as the sky lit up continuously.
With Chip, Daphne, and my cats Toby and Andy
all huddled together around my head and at my side.
Ahhhh, contentment!

I love a storm, too, Laurie. If I hear thunder in the evening I hurry and get my stuff done and get in bed. Something about being in bed feels so cozy. These are great pictures, especially the last one. I'm glad you had company during the storm. Diane
Storm fan here! I love good hard rains and distant thunder.
yeah it was pretty bad here too! but unlike you I fell asleep!!
