Dedication

Today was a special day for our family.
A bench in my sisters memory
was dedicated at the school she worked at.
After singing one of her favorite hymns,
several children spoke of their love for her.
Her priest blessed the bench,
 and we posed for pictures.
I love this stone that was placed,
I'd like to find one for my garden.
Martie's grandchildren
were also present.
It was a beautiful service,
she was so so loved,
and is greatly missed by everyone
at the school,
as she is here.

What a beautiful way of commemorating her, with the program of singing, children speaking, the bench and stone and the priest blessing it. I think she was smiling as this all occurred.

Must be a comfort to know how many lives Marti touched while she was here on earth! What a lovely thing for the school to do in her memory.
Hugs,
Lola
