Nature's Beauty

I love iris's, I only wish they lasted longer.
These were from my sister Marti,
she had come over and planted them.
 So gorgeous.
These were from a garage sale!
I love how every different color of Iris
has its own amazing scent.
 Walking through our woods,
I found two lady slipper wild orchids.
Rare, and beautiful.
Love my yellow iris's,
also from a garage sale.
It's so peaceful outside,
just soaking in all the beauty.

Lovely irises! I agree, they don't last long enough. The heavy rains have knocked a lot of mine to the ground. :( How nice that you have some from your sister.

I haven't seen Lady Slippers for ever! They are so pretty aren't they?
Wishing you a most wonderful June Laurie!

These are beautiful. We have only a few, and they are long past their bloom down here. I'm so glad you shared yours! Have a blessed day, Laurie!

Beautiful photos, Laurie. I love irises, too. Had planted dozens of bulbs in Omaha, but moved before they blossomed the next spring. Looking for a variety again for my yard along the fence.

Laurie,
I love the Iris' and as always your blog is so beautiful. I wish Iris' would last longer too. They are too beautiful to have such a short life, but we enjoy what we can.
