My niece has a bird feeder outside her front window.
It's the perfect spot for bird watching,
as yesterday we witnessed 17 different
species partaking of her songbird feed.
From cardinals to harry and downy
woodpeckers, orioles to rose breasted grossbeak,
chipping and white hooded sparrows,
gold and purple finches,
gold and purple finches,
titmouse and morning doves,
blue jays and many more;
it made for a pleasant afternoon!

Oh my gosh! I haven't seen grosbeaks since about 3 years ago!
What beautiful photos of the birds! I love watching them. We have six baby kingbirds now, and they'll be leaving their cozy nest soon.
Beautiful birds and beautiful photography. Hugs, Pearl
I love cardinals so much. we dont have them here in the west. the first time I saw one I was so surprised at how small they are. Did I send you my new address? I cant remember. I love my chickens so much. They make me laugh.
