I can't believe it's been over a week since I last posted.
It's been a very busy time, preparing for Christmas!
I also can't believe this Santa mug is fifty years old!
I received this at a friends birthday party when I was 8.
It was brought out every year at Christmas,
and after Mom moved, it came home with me.
My little white tree was redone this year with all new lights,
and set up with my nativity set.
I've always wanted a ceramic Christmas tree,
they bring back childhood memories.
So when I found this one at our yearly
Pawzaar for five dollars, it had no choice
but to come home with me.
I ordered up the lights, Ken got the angel,
and it looks so pretty! Now to find its spot
and enjoy!
Back now to catch up with all of you
my dear blog friends.

These are such lovely Christmas things, Laurie. My memory of Christmas past is strong as well; this is such a special time of year. May we let memory keep our Christmas sweet!
Very pretty........all of it! I remember these little mugs......I have a few of them collected. They just made a school party so fun!
I use to have a mug like this too, but I bought it in a junk store when I was a teenager. My Mother also has one of these trees stored too and I was thinking I should bring it home and set it up. But I have run out of room. They do make great memories, and you just made two for me! And your tree is beautiful. Hugs, Pearl
It's hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner isn't it? I like your Christmas trees ~ so pretty! I think my Grandma had a ceramic Christmas tree. I wonder where it went to? It would be fun to have!
Have a super weekend Laurie!

That mug is AMAZING! Very cool! Thank you so much for your lovely and helpful comment regarding my doggie's surgery. I really appreciate your kind words. I hope you have a lovely holiday season! Wishing you the best, Amanda
Love the mug! I also have a ceramic Christmas tree. Mine is in two pieces--a base and then the top. The base has been glued and reglued, but I will not get rid of it because my grandmother made it. She also made my Nativity set. I think of her so much each Christmas.
