Grooming, Flowers, and Horses

While Chip and Bobby were at the groomer today, getting so beautiful, I went around the yard to look at the last of the summer colors.
The mum's are in full fall bloom, vibrant red and yellow.
Red fuchsias are dancing,
and miniature hollyhocks are loading their stems.

Blanket flowers are still in full bloom bring their yellow sunshine to the gardens.

I'm not sure what these are, but I love their happy little blooms!
The neighbors horses are enjoying the end of summer, grazing on the grasses
that will soon disappear. This little shetland is closing in on 40!
So pretty!
I hope you're enjoying the last days of summer,
and if you're like me, looking forward to fall!

Beautiful horses and pony, nice clean dogs and flowers still in bloom; that is a nice photo display.

Love seeing your fall blooms Laurie. Ours are winding down too and I, for one, am so looking forward to cool breezes. :c)

Looks like you still have lots of great color! And of course all the pups and horses look good too! :)

Love this post Laurie. That picture of Chip reminds me so much of my Ted Bear. So sweet. Diane

Beautiful, Laurie! Thank you for your sweet comments, too (that's me on Daddy's lap) ~ when I try to answer you by replying to your comment, though, I always get one of those mail-delivery "daemon"s...strange! But I can answer you here ~ :)
Hugs,
Anne

Heck this is better than Pinterest, the beauty abounds in your area. I love the Shetland pony, I still want one and I have since I was a child. Growing up on a farm is the best education in the world. My Grandparents had one but I was pretty young when they did. One day I saw my Grandpa cut the head off a chicken and when it started running around headless I was scared beyond words and I always felt funny around my Grandad after that. Ha! I just wasn't aloud outside anymore when it was chicken time. Hugs, Pearl
