Aaaarrrggghhh!

Is anyone else disgusted with the new word verification for publishing comments!? So many times I've had to go through 3 or 4 just to get the letters right. They're so run together that it's hard to tell when one letter ends and the next begins! I disabled mine and just went to approving the comments first. It's really frustrating!

I completely disabled my verification a few months ago; these things are very hard to read, and I don't think that many spammers would be interested in my blog! I did, however, get a spammy comment a few days ago. It was from a site that has "professional writers" that will write your "important papers" for you. Yikes. It's pitiful that those sites even exist.

I hear ya' sister!! Not only the word verification on blogs but now with Microsoft emailing getting into it, it's very frustrating!! You would think they could come up with something better to prevent spamming. :(

I agree! I usually have to do several before I get it right too. I'm pretty sure I have that disabled on mine, but I'm going to double check.

I turned mine off too Laurie as it is really frustrating. I don't do comment approval and am hoping that Google finally has the decent spam filters. Time will tell I suppose. :c)

I agree, it is terribly frustrating to try 5 or 6 times and still not get it right. Sadly, it will mean that I will leave fewer messages on blogs that I really enjoy. If we can't read it, we can't type it.
