Permanent Bend Over
Yeah, remember these gems that were popular in practically every garden you saw? Well, I have one in mine. It's called Me. I would love to get rid of it, but unfortunately it's attached. Making sure I stand up whenever a car is going by, even though it's good exercise, is a pain. My knees don't bend as they used to, so this is standard pose when weeding the flowers. I saw a lady the other day, in this popular pose, weeding around a stop sign. I almost laughed out loud, she didn't feel the least bit embarrassed at this busy intersection showing her where withalls to every driver that had to stop, as you couldn't help but get an eye full. I on the other hand, don't like to do that. The thought of eyes burning a hole in my butt doesn't appeal to me. So, as long as there are weeds to pull, I'll be up and down, up and down, up and........ hmmmm wonder if it will make my waist any smaller or get me a nice set of those six pack abs.

LOL .. you're so funny. Funny because I know EXACTLY what you mean by standing up every time a car goes by. And your knees.. and the whole dog gone thing. Too cute. Love it. keri
Oh yeah I remember these little beauties my mother had them at her lake house until the neighbors thought it was funny to draw x-rated stuff on them hah! She had to repaint them.
Oh, you did it! I love your new look, Laurie. The header's beautiful.
How many times do you drive down the street and see women doing the same thing!!! Geez! I'm with you. I get down on my hands and knees to pull weeds, then I realiZe that my tee shirt bags at the top. Luckily we have a fenced in yard but I still feel exposed.
Me too, I stand up everytime a car goes by, very conscious of that! What happened to the years that I wore shorts and my bathing suit top? If only I could have them back!

I often wonder if my "drawers" are showing too...lolol!
You figured out the collage Laurie! Your header is beautiful!
Too funny and nostalgic too. I remember everyone in our neighborhood had at least one of these in their garden back in the day when I was growing up.
Love it!
