Today was an eventful day, and a bittersweet one. Unfortunately, Benji died. I don't want to say the circumstances, just will say my heart is broken. He was only a few minutes from being released. I'm sick to my stomach.
On the other hand, I managed to catch Daphne and two of her babies. They're much younger than I thought, only about 4 weeks old. They're adorable! And scared, as is Daphne who has perched on top of my fabric rack. When I came home from filling the gas tank, I found one of the baby's also in the middle of the rack. The other, crouched between my desk and book shelf. Tomorrow, I will attempt to catch the last two, and the whole family will be reunited. Then will come the task of taming them! Wish me luck, I'll need it.

I'm sorry to hear that Benji died but it was God's will and he is in a finer place. The good news is very good news indeed with the cats and I know this will turn out better. Don't feel to bad honey you did all you could do. Big Hugs, Pearl
So sorry about Benji ~ ((hugs))~
It looks like you are going to have your hands full for a little while with all these kitties! But from poking around your blog a bit and reading more about you, I am thinking these kitties are in very good hands and it won't be long before this lucky kitty family will be tamed and acting like they are royalty at your house! I am thinking in your caring and loving hands they will soon be fluffy balls of love! :)
Have a Happy Day!

Aw, Sweetie, I'm sorry about Benji..they are fragile little creatures and it's sadly true that only the strong survive..but your sweet attempts to save not only him but MamaCat and Kitties will not go unnoticed by all that is good..
Take care Sweetie..
BTW- your photos of MamaCat & babies are perfect!
Oh, I'm sorry, Laurie. I know that animals go to heaven.
I wish you more than luck, I pray for your success with the kitties. God's blessings to you AND them.
