This is the altar area, it was the middle of the week so the elements were not there, nor the flowers. But still I think the beauty of the church can still be seen. If you click on the pictures, you can see the carved angels that are mounted where the pipes are hidden for the organ, and Pastor peaking from the side. The stained glass windows around the church are magnificent! The corner stone was laid in 1895.
Children at Grace are very well behaved. This is due in part to the children's chapel, where proper church behavior, and respect are taught. This is the window over the alter.
Alongside the building, is a piece of Heaven in the middle of the city. The wrought iron fencing encloses beautiful gardens and statuary, and benches for those who want to sit and just soak in the beauty of the surroundings. People from the neighborhood are most welcome to come into the garden and enjoy the peace it offers.
This is my favorite spot, the statue of St. Francis of Assisi. As an animal lover, I'm sure you know why. As the gardens come into bloom, I'll show more of the beauty that is Grace.

What a very beautiful church Laurie. I am so happy you have found a home there! :c)
This is such a pretty church and gardens. I love St. Francis of Assissi, too. I think that statue is probably bigger than mine. Diane
What a beautiful church! I love the stained glass and the writing over the altar. I so prefer an old ornate church to the new modern ones of today.
What a great church inside and out. Beautiful stained glass windows, and isn't it lovely that you can find a place to just soak up the sun and look at the flowers and listen to the birds. I'm so happy you have found this home.
I love the stained glass and the outside of the church....very pretty......
