I Crossed the Finish Line!

And am I pleased! Everything is now in its place, and easy to access. The window in the room overlooks my flower garden, so I wanted the theme of my room to reflect the outdoors. I love the birdhouse border, the blue on the walls is so bright and cheery. Ken bought me the butterfly cornices for the window, which look so pretty next to the hummingbird feeder and the little plants.
Now I have a space that is all mine, to retreat to that is perfect for relaxing with my many hobbies. All that is left to do is get new carpeting. I can't wait til tomorrow to start on my quilt projects! Right now, I'm putting my feet up!

How nice and organized. That is the color of my sewing room and I love it! I just heard something the other day how blue makes you creative. That would explain the ninety thousand projects I have started in there....watch out!

It looks great! I'm sure you will get many projects going in that room. I'm a little jealous as I'm stuck down in our basement, but I would have to give up a bedroom to put my craft room upstairs. Happy crafting!

Your room turned out beautifully. Have fun creating in your special room.

I am enjoying my new special room too, but it isn't as beautiful.

Oh Laurie! it looks really nice, I just love the border that you picked out. I'm really into birds too and that is just the cutest border. I love the corner thingys on your window, very unique. And the little chair with the bunny is sweet. All neat and organized!! As busy as you have been with your Mom and all how did you ever find the time? The blue is beautiful such a nice tone. Well all there is left is to enjoy your crafting and your beautiful quilt with your babies on it. Well done, Pearl

Wow- what a transformation. So organized. Can you come and organize- oh- almost any room at my house- or any closet? This would be such a great place to sit and work. Inspiring for spring!
