What am I doing wrong!

Okay, I'm not ready to give up!  Except for one, no one can get through to comments.  It's feeling a little lonely out here!  Does anyone know how to fix this?

It's a Brealfast Bonus!

I am a peanutbutteraholic.

I am also a chocolaholic.

Every morning now, for several years,

my breakfast mainstay is peanut butter toast

and a cup of hot cocoa, made with baking cocoa,

Stevia and almond milk.  If you ask Ken,

he will reassure you that if I am out of my peanut butter

or cocoa, it is a bad day in black rock.

But when it's a two crust day, I'm in seventh Heaven!!

You know, when the last piece of a loaf is a crust 

and the first piece from a new loaf is a crust.

That is the day that starts out perfect.

Ah yes, today was a two crust day!!!

Spring?

I woke up to the sounds of the birds chirping and singing today. 

 It's so good to hear them again, a sign that Spring is coming!  

Now to wait for the peepers and frogs, a true sign

Spring is in the air!  Can't wait!

Beard Progess!

 Well a few posts ago, I showed this first picture of my husband Ken

wearing the beard growth t-shirt from my son and daughter-in-law.

As you can see, he was in the biker area.  

One year later, his hair is longer and so is his beard  

Now he is just below Lumberjack!

Ken decided that when he turned 70 he would

no longer shave or cut his hair!  He's holding

on tight to that commitment!  Do I mind?

Nope!  I can't imagine him ever going back!!

I Figured It Out!

Trying to  figure out the new layouts, as I haven't been here for awhile, has been tiring!  For awhile I thought I was all alone here!  Now, I can publish comments again, and enjoy all blogging has to offer!  Yes!!

Hidden Talents

Do you have a talent that seems to have been hidden, only to be discovered by accident?

I was asked to visit an art group that meets at our local library.  I went to watch, and was pulled in by the talents of the ladies in the group.  One of them handed me a piece of paper and some paints, and a picture to try and do.  I was hooked.

These are three I have done, from photo's I liked in magazines, except for the bottom flower which is made from our dog Halo's foot print.  I really like how it turned out!

What hobbies or talents do you have that you seemed to stumble on?
