Joyful Noise

Few movies anymore, scream "buy me." And even though the movie got ho-hum reviews, (I guess if movies aren't filled with sex, violence and filth they just don't make it with the public anymore) Joyful Noise is one of them. I watched this with my sisters and our friends last night, and would watch it a thousand times over. Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton are fantastic together, and the voices are phenomenal. We found ourselves laughing and crying, and keeping the beat to the awesome song performances. There are some fantastic lines in this movie, and as with Queen Latifah movies, you're going to take home a moral lesson, something not found to often in the theater anymore. If you haven't seen this yet, do. Let me know what you think!

I've been wanting to see this too! Both are two of my favorites. You are right, unless it's blood, death, violence, sex, language, action, simple from the heart movies like these don't get good reviews. I can't wait to see it now.

Thanks for the review! :)
